Peace and Unity

Make Music Matter (MMM), an NGO that uses the creative process as a therapeutic tool to help empower marginalised individuals and communities, works in countries that have been deeply scarred by conflict, HIV/AIDS, and violence against women. Music has always helped people around the world to overcome hardship by providing comfort and consolation, and by helping them to directly address the most divisive issues their communities face. This song is the fruit of MMM’s Healing in Harmony music therapy programme with the survivor network Golden Women Vision Uganda based in Gulu.
