Description
These poems and this book excerpt were written by survivors from the Mouvement des Survivant.e.s en RDC (Movement of Survivors of Sexual Violence in the DRC) to raise awareness about conflict-related sexual violence in the DRC.
They were first showcased at an exhibition organised on June 19, 2019 in Bukavu. These artworks were later featured in the 2023 SEMA Collective Memory Exhibition ‘We Are Speaking, Are You Listening?’, held in Nairobi, Kenya.
