Make Music Matter (MMM) is an NGO that leverages the creative process as a therapeutic tool to empower marginalized individuals and communities. Operating in countries profoundly affected by conflict, HIV/AIDS, and violence against women, the organisation harnesses the healing power of music. Music has long been a source of comfort and consolation for people worldwide, helping them overcome hardships and directly tackle the most divisive issues their communities face. Through its programmes, Make Music Matter enables individuals to find their voice, heal from trauma, and foster positive change in their societies.

This song is the product of MMM’s Healing in Harmony music therapy programme with the survivor network Golden Women Vision Uganda based in Gulu.
