Women of Meta Resisting War

Women of Meta Resisting War (Mujeres del Meta Resistiendo a la Guerra ) is a memorial and digital exhibition that documents the collective memory, resistance, and political organising of women in Colombia’s Meta region. Created by El Meta con Mirada de Mujer, an organisation bringing together women who have been affected by the armed conflict, including survivors of sexual violence, the project highlights their lived experiences of violence, survival, and leadership in a region shaped by decades of war. 

The website serves as a historical record of the organisation’s political advocacy, preserving testimonies, photographs, and archival material that reflect decades of grassroots advocacy.
